Quality Engineer – Modular Accommodation Manufacturing

Our client is one of Ireland’s leading manufacturers of modular accommodation for the UK and Irish markets out of its state of the art facility in Dublin.
Job Description
Working at our client’s manufacturing facility in Dublin, you will assist the manufacturing manager in liaising with the technical departments and coordinating the construction details, performing a Quality Control function to ensure that manufactured product meets the required standard.
Responsibilities:
Day to day liaison with the technical departments for construction details.
Coordination of construction drawings
Documenting raw material specifications, ensuring they meet with customer requirements, maintaining specification database, communication and review of specs with suppliers.
Assist the management team in Lean operations implementation with respect to supplier management and raw material handling.
Work with operations team to drive efficiency advances by innovating our assembly & manufacturing processes
Challenge both manufacturing and business processes.
Initiate and lead problem solving techniques.
Identify, assess feasibility and manage change for both continuous improvements and mandatory requirements.
Demonstrate that the manufacturing process selection has delivered in terms of costs, quality and cycle times.
Support operations to ensure output & quality targets are achieved
Conduct daily quality checks on materials.
Requirements:
3rd Level Qualification in a Construction Technology/Engineering
At least 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing facility. (Timber/Steel)
Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project & AutoCAD.
Package:
Permanent Full time position
€35K+ depending on experience
