Senior Parliamentary Researcher (Law) - Houses of the Oireachtas The
Houses of the Oireachtas Commission is the statutory corporate body
responsible for the running of the Houses of the Oireachtas and the
administration and management of the Houses of the Oireachtas Service.
There are currently vacancies for Senior Parliamentary Researcher
(Law) in the Parliamentary Research Service (PRS) and in the Office of
Parliamentary Legal Advisers (OPLA).

Reporting to the Head of Research, the Senior Parliamentary Researcher
(Law) in the PRS will be responsible for providing high quality legal
research and analysis to the Houses, parliamentary Committees, and
individual Members. Reporting to a Principal Officer, the Senior
Parliamentary Researcher (Law) in the OPLA will be responsible for
providing high quality legal research, analysis and information across
a range of services to Legal Advisers, Assistant Parliamentary Counsel
and/or Members and Committees, and will manage a team of Legal
Researchers.
