Injection Moulding Engineer
Job Description



The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide engineering expertise supporting a number of fully integrated injection molding systems which include high speed automation, rapid change precision optical tooling and fast cycling Injection Molding Machines. 

This completely automated environment requires experience in trouble shooting, maintenance excellence, electro mechanical and control systems further experience in Polymer science is a distinct advantage.

You will be require to support a range of projects and in some instances, lead activities in identifying and implementing engineering solutions which deliver highly efficient equipment and cost-effective processes.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in monitoring process development, applying structured project management techniques and experience of managing outside vendors is required.


 
Requirements:


A minimum of an advanced degree in a scientific, engineering, or related discipline is required with 7+ years relevant industry experience – ideally within medical device product / process development. 

A demonstrated ability to work independently and in team-oriented environments, of change, risk mitigation, and flexibility will be needed. 

Proven ability of handling multiple projects/tasks at the same time as well as the ability to listen to customers' needs and develop solutions to meet their requirements.

Hands-on background with experience in machine development tool set up polymer process characterization, Process Excellence / six Sigma / DOE experience would be highly advantageous.
