Pieta is a not-for-profit organisation based in Ireland providing care
to those impacted by suicidal ideation and self-harm and those
bereaved by suicide. The charity provides a comprehensive range of
prevention, intervention and postvention services through its network
of centres across the country, remotely via phone and video and its

suicide-bereavement liaison service. Services are made possible
through the generosity of donors, the HSE and well-supported
fundraising activities.

As Project Officer you will be responsible for coordinating project
activities and supporting the Clinical Programme Office who have
responsibility for the implementation of the Clinical Strategy. The
office comprises of research and evaluation, quality assurance and
data analytics and together as a team we provide the vital insights
and data to make evidence based decisions. Our strong focus on
governance and quality practices enables Pieta to deliver the best
services for our clients.

THE ROLE:

* Work closely with the team in the Programme Office to plan and
develop the projects and initiatives to meet the clinical strategic
objectives
* Support the team with the management and delivery of various
improvement and change projects
* Coordinate project activities and schedules for the team and
assist with the preparation of the overall implementation plan and
other key documents required for successful project delivery.
* Ensure the central repository for all project management
documentation is filed appropriately
* Assist the team with the management of data, quality and risk
analysis, monitoring and evaluation frameworks
* Prepare regular reports to assist the programme manager to track
the progress of project components to ensure schedules and deadlines
are being met
* Identify gaps and possible solutions and bring them to the
attention of the team for action.
* Organise meetings with internal and external stakeholders to
review project progress and to discuss future steps

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

* 3 years' experience in project planning and implementation
* A formal qualification in a relevant discipline such as business
studies, project management, or other areas relevant to the role
* A recognised project management qualification is preferable
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to
manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities
* Good organisational skills to help groups plan, organise, and
coordinate their work effectively
* Ability to develop efficient work plans for complex projects
involving many groups, and effectively support the implementation and
coordination of these plans.
* Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently
* Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities under
pressure to meet short- and long-term deadlines
* Advanced IT skills and working knowledge of MS Office
